In 2014, I worked on a project that utilized the LDA model, and went a step further. Instead of the distance between topic of the target word and topic of other words, we considered the distance from word vectors of a target word and the word vector of other words.

Traditional crowdsourcing entails assigning tasks to random workers through an open call. The assumption is that the requester's goal differs from the worker's. Challenges arise when acquiring reliable data for opinion-based tasks or tapping into intrinsic motivation. This paper offers a comprehensive approach for effective audience engagement via crowdsourcing.
NexGenDoc: An Interface to Help Find A Healthcare Professional
A Capstone Project that kicked off during a Startup Weekend Hackathon of sorts, I decided to focus on the following mission:
"Medical innovation transforms medical practice. As waves of information shape care standards, physicians embrace novel approaches. Specialists extrapolate regional insights to enhance overall practice. National organizations establish the gold standard of care, leading to Centres of Excellence."
I presented this prototype during Carnegie Mellon's Startup Competition was selected as a finalist.
